The Counter is a fun place, but the burger is never satisfying b/c it's DRY DRY DRY. Not juicy at all. A word to the wise, don't get the honey wheat bun. It's hard and crusty. Burger buns should be soft and maybe fluffy. They should smush when you grab the burger and stick it in yo mouth. I got it medium as I tend to get my burgers at chain restaurants… maybe that's the big mistake. But the server kinda steered me away from medium rare. I got carrots, pickles, sprouts, cucumber, brie cheese, and basil pesto. All things I truly love. But they don't love each other. It's not like they hate each other, but they don't play well together.
Lately I've realized the one deciding factor about how much I like a burger is the thickness of the patty. Thick patty almost always equals no good. Thin patty almost always equals tasty. I don't like fatty patties like I don't like thunder thighs.
