This burger had some good things going for it and some so-so things going for it… (but nothing bad going for it).
Not a fan of Ciabatta style bread. It's a rectangle holding a circle. Doesn't make sense.
The meat was a big ball instead of a flattened out patty. This is ok, but it makes it a bit harder to eat/messy and harder to cook properly.
Although the meat was a big ball, it wasn't dense like other places and it was tasty and seasoned well and juicy.
The cheese was totally melted all over it. I like it when that's done well.
The red wine-onion jam was very tasty. I'm no longer a big fan of grilled/caramalized onions, but the ones they made here were good…not sure why… maybe a bit more acidic while keeping it's sweetness?
The bread, while not my first choice for a burger, was impeccably grilled.
The service was awesome and actually made the burger taste better.
