These burgers were provided for the guests that hung around 'til the wee hours of the night at Katie & Dave's wedding. Just when we were afraid the party was dying down the servers started handing out sliders and re-energized everyone. Seriously, the dance floor was almost dead, then everyone got a hot beef injection & the floor was packed again. Amazing.
If you are fortunate enough to attend a wedding reception held at Murrieta's Well hopefully the bride & groom will choose the slider option. Word on the dance floor was that there is a minimum price that must be met and couples have the choice of four regular dinner stations or three with a late night slider option. Great job Katie, Dave & Aunt Pattie!
I debated giving this one dollar sign because they were served at a wedding reception and I didn't directly pay for them. But after further thought, I gave this one four dollar signs for a few reasons. First, in order to get these sliders you have to use Wente's catering service, which is quite pricey. Second, you'll probably be using Wente's catering service if you're getting married, a very expensive undertaking. And, third, if you're not the one getting married you're probably a guest and your being served these little beauties for free BUT wedding protocol states that guest bring gifts, usually expensive gifts. So, no matter which side you're on these are some of the most expensive burgers in town.
